The National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (Nareit) operates this site, www.businesscontinuitycoalition.com (the “Site”), on behalf of the Business Continuity Coalition (BCC) (“we” or “us”) to advance the BCC’s work toward addressing insurance and business continuity issues stemming from emergencies that necessitate widespread closures of the economy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use information through the Site.

 

How We Collect and Use Information.  We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site.  For example, we collect the time and date of your visit, your IP address, referral URLs (or the website you came from when you visit our Website), operating systems and browser types, and other information gathered through the use of cookies or other similar technologies.  We use this information to store your preferences, to help us to improve or optimize the Site, to understand traffic on the Site, and to offer you a more personalized experience. 

 

We also collect information directly from you, such as your name, email address, and phone number, if you choose to provide it to us.  We may use this information to contact you about BCC’s work.

 

How We Disclose Information. We may disclose information that we collect through the site to vendors or service providers that support the Site and the services that offer through the Site.

 

Your Choices.  You may configure your browser to disable, block, or alert you when the Site attempts to send a cookie.  However, blocking or limiting cookies may cause some of the Site’s functions to become unavailable to you.  Because an industry-standard Do-Not-Track protocol is not yet established, we do not respond to any Do-Not-Track signals that your browser may send.
